Some common problems encountered in the Distance Azimuth Assignment:
1. Determining the Source x and y co-ordinates
- A GPS unit could be sued whilst in the field to record your starting location, or if measurements were taken in decimal degrees then it can be read of a base map.
2. The button on the Trupulse may not have been held down enough to get an accurate reading and the unit could be moved in between measurements.
3. When working with ArcMap, you must ensure that your page settings aren't set to automatically save to the hard drive geotdatabse, it is useful to create your own geodatabase.
